- Entry Requirement: Students who completed Class VIII equivalent study in general education or any other discipline and fall within the age bracket of 14 to 20 years of age are eligible for admission in the SSC Vocational Course. Students who do not meet the entry requirement of the SSC Vocational Course may be eligible for a variety of short courses.
- Academic Calendar and Class Routine: January to December is the academic year for the SSC Vocational course. Students are enrolled in January of each year. Mid-year examinations held in June and annual examination held in December of first year and final examination held in December of the second year. [Yet to write the routine for the short courses] the class routine of the short courses are announced at the beginning of the respective course and the students are formally assessed towards the end of the course through skill-based evaluation.
- Fees: MHTI is running with donations and from its own incomes. However, student needs to pay monthly and annual fees to cover a percentage of the course expenses and to build commitment to complete the course. - Attendance: Annual class routine for the vocational course is published in January of each calendar year and the class routine of the short courses are announced at the beginning of the respective course. Student needs to attend all classes of the respective routine. Makeup classes are arranged for some important subjects/classes for the absent students due to genuine reasons. Minimum 80% attendance is required to get access to final examination/evaluation.
- Co-curricular: Calendar for the co-curricular activities is announced at the beginning of each year which includes: Annual sports day, Annual football tournament, Annual cricket tournament and Annual exhibition of the products and innovation of the students, etc. Every student of MHTI (Vocational or short courses alike) are eligible and encouraged to take part in the co-curricular activities.
