Secondary School Certificate (Vocational): It is a two years course equivalent to Class IX and X of the general education in Bangladesh. Teaching curriculum of this course is approved by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). After successful completion of this course, students are awarded to SSC (Vocational) certificate by the BTED. Graduates of this course would be eligible to get admission in HSC Vocational course or any other courses that require SSC equivalent qualification. About Mokarram- Hoorun Technical Institute (MHTI)
Mokarram-Hoorun Technical Institute (MHTI), situated at Rajoir, Madaripur, Bangladesh, is an approved and registered educational Institute under the ‘Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB)’ and has been established with philanthropic objectives. The Institute is named after the good names of the parents of the founder, who had a very strong tie in the community. Situated in its own campus on a 2 storied building over 10 acres/decimals of land.
MHTI aims to uplift the socio-economic conditions of underprivileged neighboring communities through help to learn skills to earn. MHTI is running short courses for the students who do not meet the entry requirement for the SSC Vocational course. The specific objective of the short course is to develop skill workforce in the locally demanding trades. Duration of this course varies from 2 two weeks to six months.
